Kessler Ordensname was an orphan child in Bodenolf even before the Tarrasque attack took the lives of many parents. Like many orphans he was taken in by a holy order in Bodenolf, though unlike his peers chose to commit himself fully to their beliefs. He went on to become a paladin of Bahamut, and rose quickly through the ranks of the order. Known for his sharp wit, yet attention to regulations and details, he became an extremely dependable asset during troubled times with Al-Maisan. He spoke openly against war, though was not lacking in his prowess with a sword. Some felt he was even unmatched as he collected many rivals.
It was his undying devotion to the people of Bodenolf during the tarrasque crisis that brought him to a position of leadership. Mobilizing Airships, which were originally designed as weapons, in the reconstruction of Bodenolf showed his capable hands at work. He became a member of the higher order and soon was put in the their most precious position. Executive of Celeb-Ost. It is here that his trusted command is best suited. The city is both dangerous above and within. There are secrets not yet discovered and many dubious individual and organizations looking to find them. Kessler stands between them and total chaos.
It has long been suspected that Kessler was sent to Celeb-Ost to discover its secrets for use by Bodenolf to maintain its current hold as the forefront of civilization and to keep the often troubled Al-Maisan (or figures within the country) from gaining any sudden power. In political circles this is being hotly debated, though to many in Celeb-Ost, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that Kessler is the only established law on the continent of Saiph.
